My antlers headband (with bells) is now firmly attached to my head. I'm playing the Ten Tenors Christmas album at full throttle, the tinsel is up and the miniature Chrismas tree is sitting on my desk in front of me. I have been joined in the Gallery this morning by one of our artistic superstars, Mandy Evans and she is joining in with enthusiasm and spirit. There is a lot of very bad singing and much laughter in the East End Gallery this morning.
The adorable Linda Lewis and her two young daughters Holly and Te'a whipped us up some Christmas chocolate cupcakes for Wednesday night shopping. Alas, Mandy and I have devoured most of them, but I do have photographic evidence of their existence.
After the events of the last week, we are enjoying the chance to let our hair down, be rather silly and laugh at ourselves.
So, if you want a chance to view the Curator in all my glory, feel free to drop in and have a giggle. And take a peek at our 6 new paintings by PJ Widdup and Tina Hinchcliffe. The East End Gallery is bulging at the seams.
- Do not forget our raffle (a chance to win a limited print called "Still Life", drawn on 23 December)
- Wednesday night late night shopping until Christmas
- Christmas sundowner with wine and cheese on Saturday 19 December between 5 and 7 pm.
Ho Ho Ho to everybody.
And please, let's have some peace and goodwill in this world.
