Sometimes, serendipity, even when offered with the best of intentions, does not always deliver the desired result.
Such was the case with the ChatGPT recreation of our brochure for the East End Gallery.
I was so grateful and so enthusiastic for the assistance that, before posting, I didn't check the brochure with a fine tooth comb...
So, I discovered my email address was incorrect. I sent messages to the chap concerned, with no response.
Somewhat deflated, the only course of action was to take courage in hand and to have a go at ChatGPT myself.
Now that was an ordeal for this Online Luddite. I spent around seven hours trolling through information I really didn't understand, attempting to respond to ChatGPT's questions, which were sometimes totally over my head, not being able to edit in PDF mode and having to adjust the margins so my carefully arranged written details didn't get cut off.
I think I succeeded after hours of blood (well not quite), sweat (induced by anxiety) and tears (I admit to a few dribbles down my cheeks from sheer frustration).
My printer ink then promptly ran out so I couldn't hold a hard copy brochure in my hot little hands.
Finally after more agonising hours scanning (after I rediscovered that function on my printer), trying to move the images into pictures, rename them and finally see them, here is the result.
Instead, without further ado, I shall now try to launch our new look East End Gallery brochure online! (until my printer recovers...)
